RADIOHEAD:
important influence on Muse (and many other bands). At the start Muse had to justify themselves because of permanent comparisons to Radiohead - Matt's voice and their producer John Leckie ("The Bends") were only a cheap excuse for stereotyped thinking. After "Origin Of Symmetry" the journalists changed their minds and stopped pigeonholing Muse as Radiohead-copy.

especially Steve Lamacq was an early supporter of Muse and gave them lots of airplay after listening to the "Muscle Museum EP".
